I was commissioned to design a poster for a show organized by We See You (www.weseeyou.co/anightofgoodtrouble), an Atlanta organization. It was poster show in honor of Sen. John Lewis with a goal of encouraging people to vote.
I wanted this piece to make voting feel approachable and exciting. Many eligible voters in younger generations feel like they are not informed enough to vote, so I wanted to make it seem a bit less serious and intimidating. I love using colorful cartoony art even for important topics because it takes the pressure off and hopefully gets more people talking.
